Privacy Policy
This policy explains how MH QR Scanner (the “app”), developed by MH SOLUTION (“we”, “us”), handles information when you use it. In short: the app works on your device, has no accounts, and does not send your scans, photos, logos or QR code content to us.
1. What the app does with your data
- Camera. The camera is used only after you tap “Start camera”, to find QR codes. Video frames are processed inside your browser. They are not recorded, saved or sent anywhere. The camera is switched off when you stop scanning, change tabs or leave the page.
- Images. Photos or images you upload, drop, paste or take with “Take a photo instead” are read and decoded on your device. They are not uploaded.
- Scan results. Decoded results are shown on screen. The last 50 are saved in your browser’s local storage so you can view them again. You can delete one entry or clear them all at any time.
- Settings. Your beep and vibrate choices, and your last-used QR style (template, colors, shapes, caption text, logo size and shape) are also saved in local storage.
- Creating QR codes. Text you type into the Create forms (including Wi‑Fi passwords and contact details) and logos you upload are used only to draw the QR code on your screen. They are not saved and are gone when you close or reload the page.
Everything stored stays on your device. Clearing your browser’s site data removes it.
2. What we do not do
- We do not require an account or ask for your name, email or phone number.
- We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking tools inside the app.
- The app does not set cookies.
- We do not sell or share your information, because we do not receive it.
3. Third parties
- Code libraries. The scanner uses the open-source jsQR library, loaded from cdnjs.cloudflare.com (or, if that fails, cdn.jsdelivr.net). Like any web request, loading it lets those services see your IP address and browser details under their own policies. The QR code creation library is built into the app.
- Hosting. The company or platform that serves this page to you may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, time and page requested) under its own policy. If you open the app inside another platform, that platform’s policy also applies.
- Links and actions. The app never opens a scanned link automatically. When you tap an action such as “Open link”, “Call”, “Write email” or “Open in Maps”, your device opens another website or app, which has its own privacy practices.
- Sharing and saving. When you use Share or Download, the file goes to the app or location you choose and is handled by your device and browser.
4. Permissions
The app may ask for camera access. You can allow or block it in your browser or device settings at any time, and the rest of the app (uploading images and creating codes) still works without it. Copy buttons write to your clipboard only when you tap them.
5. Safety when scanning
QR codes can point to harmful sites. Check the address shown before you open a link, and only enter passwords or payment details on sites you trust.
6. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone.
7. Your choices
Because we do not hold your personal information on any server, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on your behalf. You control what is stored on your device by deleting scan history, clearing site data, or revoking camera permission.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated policy.

Please read these terms before using MH QR Scanner (the “app”), developed by MH SOLUTION (“we”, “us”). By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. The app
The app is a free tool for scanning QR codes with a camera or image, and for creating QR codes with optional styles and logos. It is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time.
2. Your responsibilities
- Use the app only for lawful purposes and in line with these terms.
- Do not create QR codes that link to phishing, malware, scams or other deceptive, harmful or illegal content, and do not use the app to harass, defraud or mislead anyone.
- Make sure you own, or have permission to use, the content, brands and logos you put into a QR code.
- Check where a scanned code leads before you open it. You are responsible for what you open, call, message or share.
- Follow local laws and the rules of places where you use your camera.
3. Test before you print
The “Scans correctly” indicator is a helpful check made with the app’s own reader. It does not guarantee that every scanner app or device will read the code. Always test codes on several devices, at the size and on the material you will actually use, before printing or publishing them. Strong contrast, a light background and a small, simple logo give the best results.

- The app, its design and its code are © 2026 MH SOLUTION. All rights reserved.
- QR codes you create, and the logos and content you use in them, remain yours. We do not receive them.
- The app uses open-source components: jsQR (Apache License 2.0) and qrcode-generator by Kazuhiko Arase (MIT License), each under its own license.
- “QR Code” is a registered trademark of DENSO WAVE INCORPORATED.
5. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we make no promises that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or compatible with every device, browser or scanner, or that scan results and generated codes will always be accurate.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, MH SOLUTION is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, profit, business or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. This includes harm caused by a scanned code or link, or by a QR code that does not scan. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Third-party sites and services
Scanned codes and the app’s action buttons can lead to websites, apps and services we do not own or control. We are not responsible for them or for their content or policies.
8. Privacy
How the app handles information is described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version, and continued use of the app means you accept the changes.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which MH SOLUTION is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
